Recital Instructions for Students

We know you’re all practicing diligently for our upcoming Holiday Recital on Thursday, December 15th, 6:00pm at Steinway Gallery of Spokane (13418 E Nora Ave, Spokane Valley 99216  ( https://steinwayspokane.com /contact )

• Arrivebetween 5:50-5:55pm. 
• Bring some holiday cookies to share!
• Dress in your holiday attire (but make sure your hands are unencumbered & we can see your face.) 
• Attend the whole time---we expect the recital to last about 45-60 minutes. We will host a reception with refreshments following the recital. Please communicate any food allergies beforehand.
• Invite any friends or family who might like to attend. Prospective students are invited, also.
• Stream the recital on Zoom! Family/friends can watch by following the instructions at https://www.peakpiano.net/reci tal.

If you are nervous or make a mistake, follow these steps:

1. Pause and take a breath.

2. Start at the next part you remember and play from there.

3. Keep going no matter what. Most people will not even know you made a mistake!
