Child Students
Our child-centered methodology develops students’ capacity to think critically and productively about their own musicianship.
You will learn:
- Easy & effective Piano Technique
- Note reading & sight-reading skills
- Music Theory
- Performance skills in a variety of musical styles
- How to define & set achievable goals for yourself
- How to practice without tears
- How to self-diagnose musical problems & apply effective troubleshooting skills
Structure:
- Fall Semester: September - end of January
- Spring Semester: February - end of June
- Summer Session: July & August
In a typical four-week month, students will attend three weekly lessons and perform in one recital. (View the Fall 2023 calendar)
Tuition:
Tuition for Peak Piano Studios’ 2023-Fall Semester is $1300 ($1200 if Pre-Registered by August 31, 2023). A Pre-Registration Deposit of $200 applies towards tuition.
Tuition is typically billed as five (5) equal installments due Sep. 11, Oct. 1, Nov. 1, Dec. 1, and Jan 1. Other payment plans may be available.
Your tuition includes:
- 13-15 individual 45-minute lessons (View the Fall 2023 calendar)
- Lesson Notes sent home each week
- Personal customer service calls (10 min. per month), plus lesson time may be used for conferencing
- Preparation, coaching, & entry for Halloween Recital at Steinway Gallery of Spokane (October)
- Preparation, coaching, & entry for Music Literacy festival at Gonzaga University (November)
- Preparation, coaching, & entry for Holiday Recital at Steinway Gallery of Spokane (December)
- Preparation, coaching, & entry for January Recital at Steinway Gallery of Spokane (January)
- Parent/Teacher Conference Week & Peak Piano Studios Curriculum progress reports (last week of January 2023)
Your tuition does not include:
- Books & Materials (approx. $50 per semester; Amend Music Center finds you the most cost-effective options)
